Armoor is a city and a Mandal in Nizamabad district within the kingdom of Andhra Pradesh in India. It become these days upgraded to a municipality. Armoor is located on NH 7 (Hyderabad-Nagpur) and NH 16 (Nizamabad-Jagdalpur). It is a hundred and eighty KM faraway from AP’s capital Hyderabad.

It is also called Navanathapuram. It is one of the fundamental cities in Nizamabad district. The village Padagal in Velpoor is acknowledged because the first village in India to advantage a hundred% literacy.
